Symptoms. The symptoms produced on chrysanthemum leaves are fairly characteristic. Initially, yellow to brown spots develop that are contained between the larger leaf veins, giving the appearance of fan-shaped or V-shaped lesions. Eventually, entire leaves turn brown and become brittle.
