How do you use Aztec sweet herb?
Aztec Sweet Herb is a sprawling ground cover type plant that has an incredibly sweet leaf. Not often used for sweetening any more, leaves can be eaten from the plant like candy or tossed into fruit salads for an unusual addition. Aztec Sweet Herb cannot take frost, but it makes a nice container plant.
Can you still use herbs after they flower?
Your herb is making a flower, then a seed, then it dies back for that season. So, it is best to keep any flowers from forming in the first place. As you see a flower budding, simply pinch the entire thing off. If you find that the herb is persistent, cut back below the flower, or even the entire stem if needed.
